But this War is NOT about numbers. It’s about people.
And for each of them, their children are at risk of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and its long-term consequences.
Countless Israeli children continue to be traumatized and psychologically triggered by a bombardment of violence. Oct7KIDS will be focusing on all these children.
MISSION STATEMENT

Meet Our Logo Lion
The Lion of Judah is a well-known symbol of the people of Israel. We wanted our version of the Lion to be strong, yet not vicious nor intimidating. Our Lion would be like the Zen Master who is confident, knowing his own strength, and being there to protect his pride and cubs.
You will notice that our lion is looking up towards heaven, as if to say, ‘I Lift my eyes, unto where I get my strength...’(Psalms 121)
The name of the organization is Oct7KIDS.
The word Oct is painted in an artistic typeface to evoke the feeling of ashes and burnt-out dwellings, which occurred on October 7, 2023 in Israel, perpetrated by Hamas terrorists. (More than 1400 Israelis were slaughter during the massacre. Additionally, over 250 men, women, children, elderly, babies, and visiting foreigners, were kidnapped and held hostage inside Gaza.)
Because the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) was determined to bring the hostages home, back to their families, they named their military response ‘Iron Swords’. On our logo, two swords are positioned to reflect the number 7, the date of the sneak attack.
On each sword, there is a Hebrew inscription. כי ה הוא אלקים meaning ‘Because G-d is our G-d’.
On the second sword is written אין עוד מלבדו which means ‘There is nothing other than G-d.’
We learn that all swords will be “beaten into plowshares”, productive tools, when Divine Peace reigns on earth for all of mankind.
The word KIDS is depicted in metallic solid gold, shining bright. This reflects our organizational goal: That our children will come out of this traumatically devastating event, strong, formidable and bringing light into the world.
We hope you appreciate the sincere thought and artistry put into the Oct7KIDS logo.
